Care & Cleaning
Lapis Lazuli is the stone of wisdom, truth, and inner peace. With its royal blue color and golden flecks (Pyrite), it is one of the most beloved stones, but it requires very careful and, most importantly, dry care.
- Cleaning: ⚠️ Avoid prolonged contact with water. Lapis Lazuli is porous and often contains calcite (lime), which can cause the stone to dull or even crack if it gets wet. The safest way to discharge this stone is by means of smoke (Palo Santo or white sage) or by placing it on a bed of Hematite stones.
- Charging: This stone is deeply connected to the starry sky. Preferably place it in the light of the full moon. Because this stone is so sensitive to moisture and chemicals, a Selenite charging plate is the safest and most effective way to deeply cleanse its energy and fully recharge it.
- ⚠️ Please note: Keep Lapis Lazuli away from acids, perfume, soap, and cleaning agents. These can irreparably damage the stone and cause its deep blue color to fade.
